St. Patty's Day was on Wed this year, and also during spring break. We were able to go to HH after work to indulge in a couple mugs of green beer and then we picked up the kids for our half of SB. I made my traditional corned beef and mashed potatoes. I forgot it takes 3+ hrs to cook so we actually weren't able to sit down to dinner until 10pm.
In the mean time we snacked on cheese and crackers and fruit and watched The Princess Bride. The kids had never seen it before! And...they LOVED the corned beef. I must say it all turned out excellent. It was a wonderfully green day.
