About Me

I was born in Fort Worth but only lived the first 5 years of my life in TX.  I mainly grew up in Michigan and attended Michigan State University, GO GREEN!  I moved to Texas after I graduated from college for my job in 2001.  I LOVE AUSTIN and cannot imagine living anywhere else.  I enjoy playing volleyball and running races: 5k, 10k, 10 miler, several half marathons and 2 full marathons!  In 2017 I ran the Texas Independence relay, 200 miles with a team of 12 bad ass mother runners.  :)

In 2007 I bought my very own home which Jonathan and I shared with his two children and my adorable dog Sarah (she's is a Boston Terrier/Dalmatian mix).  Then in 2010, after our wedding, we bought a new larger home together and adopted another dog, Josie (she's a black mouth cur/mix, we think).  Now Sarah has a playmate!  :-)  In 2011 we welcomed my 1st son, Ryland, to the family.  In 2013 we welcomed our 2nd child, baby girl Carsyn!

I am very fortunate to have a wonderful, loving, supportive family (immediate and extended) and a great group of friends here in Texas.  I love anything that involves food (especially wine and cheese), Halloween, sports (volleyball/softball), roller coasters, and dancing.

I'm always up for meeting new people and making new friends and generally being outside and active.  I love to dance so if that's something you like to do then I'd love to meet you!
