#80 - Encourage someone else to do 101 in 1001

It has been taking me forever to encourage others to try out the 101 challenge.  Then low and behold on Friday I found out one of my co-workers had accidentally come across my 101 blog!  She liked it so much that she started one herself.  I'm claiming Erin for my #80 because if she hadn't seen my blog she would have never started her own.  In fact she passed this idea on to yet another one of my co-workers, Christie, and she started one as well.

#15 - Cook home meal(s) (20/143)

At long last I've finally cooked a home meal.  It's probably been over 3+ weeks since I've prepared a meal (unless you count frozen pizza and easy mac).  Monday night I invited Monica, Jen, and Emily and her two girls over to my place for my favorite pasta dish.  Jen brought the garlic bread and Mon & Em brought the salad.  Everything turned out marvelous.  Good times!

#68 - Update the music on my mp3 player

I've had the same music on my MP3 player for over a year (yes yes I know).  A couple days ago my Rio finally crashed on me and I had to reformat.  This gave me the opportunity to finally update my music!  Now I can listen to the top/current songs.  :)

#81 - Donate blood at least 3x’s a year (1/9)

Success:
#81.  Finally, I was able to give blood today!    I traveled to Costa Rica last May, which is a malaria zone, and was given a 12 month deferral on donating blood.    Today the blood center came to Dell and I was able to save a life.  I'm still not sure if I'll be able to fit in 3x's before the year is up, but I'm going to try my best.

#71 - Wear more dresses / skirts (10/?).  I wore my favorite red skirt on Wed. 

Failure:
#44 - Work out at least 3x's a week.  I sprained my ankle two Sunday's ago and have not been able to go to the gym.  The Dr told me to stay off my feet...but I've still been playing in my volleyball and softball games.  I've just been making sure I wear ankle braces and keep taking ibuprofen.    I also went dancing last Thursday.  So much for staying inactive.  I listed this as a failure though because I've nixed the gym for 2 weeks.  However my sports are helping me to exercise some.

#15 - Cook home meal(s).  Yah I've been bad about this one.  I've been eating out way too much and making frozen pizzas or easy mac...and I'm guessing that doesn't count. :P

#92 - Buy a new pair of black everyday sandals

Finally!  My old pair of black sandals were looking pretty sorry.  So I decided to head to the mall Sunday for an afternoon of shopping.  I actually went just to restock on some makeup...but ended up buying a new swimsuit and 3 new pairs of shoes!  I finally have a really cute polka dot bikini which I plan on wearing this Friday...and I bought a pair of Nina black dress shoes, a pair of tennis shoes, and my new black sandals!  I love these sandals!  Very comfortable.  Now I can throw out the old pair.
