The Wurst Time! Again!

I wasn't able to go last year to Wurstfest as I'd just had Carsyn, so we made up for it this year and went with a group of friends. :)  It was a great...I mean WURST time ever!  And of course the hubby does not remember the end of the night.  We left for New Braunfels around 3pm and didn't get home until midnight.  We stayed inside the Wursthalle the entire time as it was cold, wet and rainy outside.

Happy Turkey Day!

Gobble Gobble Gobble!  We went over to my SIL's new house this year to celebrate with the hubby's side of the family.  My parents were in Amarillo this year celebrating with my Great Aunt Deanie and my Uncle Bill's family.  Carsyn was old enough to feed herself while the other kids were old enough to entertain themselves, so nice!  Instead of cooking this year we had all the food/apps/desserts catered in from Whole Foods.  Happy Thanksgiving!

The Return of Our Spooktacular Party!!

 This year was the return of our Halloween Party (back to adults only) and it was awesome!  We skipped last year as I was 9 months pregnant and there was NO WAY I was going to plan a party in that state.  Anyways, this year I made a ton of new runner friends and we reinvigorated our party with new blood, muhahahaha!  The turn out was amazing, probably close to 40 people, and they were all super impressed with the decor and food.  We had some very creative costumes this year such as Olaf from Frozen, a roaring 20's flapper, lifeguard from The Sandlot, some awesome Day of the Dead makeup, Maleficent, Dark Little Bo Peep and of course some JD & coke to get this party started!  The Spirits were definitely present and ready to BOO-gie and raise the dead!

Carsyn's 1st Birthday

Our baby girl has turned one!  I still can't believe how quickly this year flew by, and now our gorgeous girl is heading into year 2!  Carsyn's a curious, intelligent, loving, sweet, delightful little girl with an adorable laugh.  We love you so very much!  Happy 1st Birthday Carsyn!

We put together a ladybug themed party for Carsy the weekend before her birthday.  We went with a smaller low key party which was much more relaxing for everyone, especially the birthday girl.  I was thrilled with how everything turned out, especially the smash cake.  ;)
